Wow!! A huge thank you to the customers of Tesco Xtra Serpentine Green, Peterborough for the huge amount of food donations for the rescue dogs.
We are blown away by your generosity and kindness
The dogs send you lots of hugs and kisses 🐶😘
Pixie is recovering well from her ordeal and is getting stronger by the day. Her leg amputation site is almost fully healed and her lacerated neck, from the farming twine being wrapped tightly around her it, is almost healed too.
Thank you to everyone who supported Pixie 🥰🥰

Another huge thank you to all the adopters and fosters for opening your hearts and your homes to an Arkie rescue dog 💖💙
A massive thank you to our drivers, Bogdan and Monica for bringing these dogs over 1800 km from Romania to the UK. “Drum bun” and have a safe journey with your precious passengers.
And also a huge thank you to the Noah’s Ark team for all the work you do behind the scenes making all this happen and not forgetting our fundraising team Mary, Jane and Anita and all the Arkie supporters for raising lots of pennies to enable us to bring the foster dogs over as well to give them a chance of their happy ever after too.
Working together like a well oiled cog, the wheels of Noah’s Ark keep rolling to help as many dogs as possible to find their forever homes and leave their abandonment and suffering behind them.
Together we are stronger! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 🥰
We would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who supported the fundraiser to get little blind Rupert on the happy bus.
With your help, he will be arriving in the UK later this month to go into foster with Linda who has opened her heart and her home to this lovely lad.
Here is a new video of Rupert taken in Sabina’s garden so you can see that, although Rupert is blind, he can still live a wonderful life: he gets around using sound and touch. We can’t wait to welcome this little lad when he arrives.
Once he has settled in, he will be available for adoption, but it needs to be a very special home so if you have experience of caring for a blind dog and would like to adopt Rupert, please get in touch.
We’re in love with him already 💙
Good luck to all the children who are starting or returning back to school this week with love from the dogs.
As the new school term starts, we have a few new ‘students’ who have joined the Noah’s Ark ‘pre-school’ class this week.
Further details on all the dogs can be viewed in their pages or on our Facebook page.
Let’s meet the new arrivals 🥰
Despite Sabina and the vet team travelling around the county sterilising the villagers’ dogs and cats free of charge, there are still litters of pups (and kittens) being born to unsterilised females everywhere!
Although the shelter is bursting at the seams, if a villager calling or bringing a litter to the clinic is turned away, the usual answer is “I’ll see how to deal with it” and we all know what that means 😢
So we have another litter of six pups joining the shelter: three handsome boys and three pretty girls. The pups are currently three months old and have been dewormed and flea treated and have started their vaccination programme.
We will set up individual pages for them shortly, but let us introduce you to ‘The B Team’ of pups.
Welcome little ones: you’re all safe now 🥰
August is always a quiet month with the school holidays and lots of people on their annual vacation, however, tomorrow 10 lucky dogs will leave Romania to start their epic journey across Europe to their new homes.

Another massive thank you to our transport team, Bogdan and Monica for looking after them during their journey and bringing them safely to their new homes.
A very huge thank you to all the adopters and fosters for opening their hearts and their homes for these wonderful dogs.
And finally a big thank you to our supporters and the fundraising team for helping to raise the pennies to get foster dog Martha on the happy bus for the chance of a loving home too.
You are all part of the well oiled cog that keeps the rescue moving and enabling us to find wonderful homes and happy new lives for the rescue dogs.

On Saturday 16th August several of our volunteers and beautiful dogs, from both foster homes and kennels, went along to the Stilton Dog Field Summer Fun Day & Fun Family Dog Show, and we are very happy to say it was a roaring success.
The weather was beautiful, and our volunteers and dogs had a wonderful time and not only did we raise some money for the rescue, we had 2 dogs that were loved so much that, at pre-arranged meet and greets, were adopted!! 🥰
We wish Mia and Bunty and their respective new owners all the best for the future and we're sure they will settle quickly into their forever homes 🥰💞
On Saturday 9th August, eleven of our beautiful rescue dogs - currently in foster or kennels - participated in West End Woofs in Covent Garden, hosted by Broadway star Bernadette Peters and West End star Dame Elaine Paige.
Two of our dogs, Rosie and Bunty ‘performed’ in the opening number and later the cast of ‘A Devil Wears Prada’ introduced each dog to the crowd of people attending the event.
The dogs were all really well behaved and the team are so proud of them as many of these dogs have never been around a huge crowd of people before and they all coped really well with all the attention and cuddles they received from people visiting them in the marquee.
A huge thanks to Nigel, Kat Pohl and her boys for helping us with the dogs for the event.
In our eyes every one of the dogs are huge ‘West End stars’ and we hope they will very soon find their forever homes 🤞🏼
Patrick continues to go from strength to strength and is putting on weight nicely.
He will soon be ready to travel to the UK where he has a foster (with a potential adoption) waiting eagerly for his arrival.
He now spends his days in the larger dog pen where he has made lots of new friends. He is such a happy and sociable dog and we can’t wait to see him arrive in the UK 🥰🥰

The fundraising team were at Tallington Car Boot on 13/07/25 and through the sale of various different items they raised nearly £200 towards the cost of the upkeep of the dogs and puppies that are currently located in kennels across England.
Watch the Events section for information on our next one!
As well as saving abandoned pups and dogs (also kittens and cats), our wonderful rescuer Sabina and her team of vets run free spay and neuter campaigns in the villages, to prevent unwanted pregnancies. They have just completed a three day programme where 192 animals were sterilised: one day of preparation and two days of sterilisation.
