Poppy is a Spanish Podenco and was adopted as a young adult when her current owner lived in Spain prior to moving back to the UK.

Due to her owner’s deteriorating health, she is sadly having to surrender Poppy as she is now unable to give her the life she truly deserves.  

Despite being a ‘golden oldie’ at 11 years old, Poppy loves her walks and being in the company of other dogs. She has a calm and gentle nature, but does get excited for a few minutes when visitors call as she loves the anticipated fuss she will receive.

She is fully vaccinated, spayed, flea and worm treated and is in good health. She is a medium size happy and healthy girl who just needs a comfy bed and a couple of daily walks in her golden years.

She is house trained, walks beautifully on the lead and loves being around other dogs. She is non-destructive and can be left for short periods of time.

In return, you will get a loyal companion and will have a friend for life if you give her love and cuddles.

The only negative is that Poppy doesn’t like cats!
