Sara is one of 11 pups found by a local man driving down a country road a few weeks ago. The pups had been abandoned in the middle of nowhere but, unlike a lot of people who would normally just drive past, he stopped and collected up all the pups and took them to the clinic.

Unfortunately one pup was too weak from starvation to survive and grew her wings and 7 pups have been adopted locally.

Sara is one of three girls still needing loving homes

She is currently two months old and expected to be a small-medium size once fully grown. Sara is now safe at the shelter and is a very pretty pup who loves to play with her new friends. She is sociable with people and good around other dogs.

She will be old enough to travel on the December happy bus.
