Gorgeous Tilly and Marley are looking for a new home TOGETHER due to a change in the current owners’ personal circumstances. Tilly is a ‘blue’ and Marley is a ‘lilac’.
Both dogs are extremely affectionate and cuddly and want nothing more than attention, love and cuddles: they are very much lap dogs 🥰
Due to being together since they were 12 weeks old, they do have anxiety if separated from each other so they are looking for a new home together, preferably with no other dogs as they love getting all the attention.
Tilly will alert you if anyone is at the door by barking. They also love a walk and playing tug and fetch inside or outside in the garden.
Once settled together they can be left for up to 5 hours but the more time you’re at home the better.
They do pull on the lead a little at first out of sheer excitement, but that is because they are currently not walked very much. With regular walks and training, this can soon be overcome.
They don’t like having their nails clipped (what dog does?!), but will tolerate a few nails being done using a silent grinder over a few days.
They don’t have any bite history and have not met many other dogs outside of the home, but those they have met, they just want to play so will sniff and encourage the other dogs to join in.
They love all people, but do tend to jump up due to excitement and wanting to greet everyone with kisses, but using the command ‘down’ and a treat, they do quickly settle down, although the female does settle quicker than the male.
They have been fine around older children over the age of 6 that are dog savvy, but they don't like it when babies or toddlers cry or scream: it causes the male to howl and the female to bark!
They are still nervous when travelling in the car, which causes them to pant and wheeze a little, but with patience, short drives to a park, where they will associate the car with something nice, this can be overcome.
